Lactobicillus Paracasei k71

Balance microbiota, support digestive & immune system health.

Research Overview

Probiotics like Lactobacillus paracasei contribute to the balance of the gut microbiota and have health-promoting effects, such as supporting digestive health and a healthy immune system.

Immune-mediated inflammatory diseases are associated with an abnormal immune response, resulting in a disturbed homeostasis and chronic inflammation leading to allergy, asthma, colitis, and disorders like Lupus.

Using the CORRECT probiotic leverages beneficial microorganisms that can positively influence the host's health when consumed in adequate amounts.

Probiotics are holistic micronutrients with all natural-nutraceutical properties and clinically proven medical benefits for allergic skin disease, including:

  • Recover Skin Epidermal Barrier Function

  • Recovery of healing balance

  • Recover gut and skin health homeostasis

  • Restore “PROTECTING” bacteria of the skin and gut

  • Replenish the healthy balance of bacteria

  • Reduce allergy and arthritis inflammation

  • Reduce skin and gut inflammation

  • Reduce GI tract inflammation: colitis and IBD

  • Decrease skin and ear infections by restoring natural microbiome

  • Restore healthy skin micro-environment

  • Recover healthy nutrients with improved absorption

Help Manage Dry Eye Disease Benefits

References

The Impact of Probiotics and Prebiotics on Dry Eye Disease Signs and Symptoms
Dry eye is considered an inflammatory disease. Gut microbiota are important in the regulation of low-grade chronic inflammation, including in the eye. Probiotics and prebiotics are increasingly used to regulate chronic-disease-associated gut dysbiosis. These data suggest that probiotics and prebiotics might be effective in the management of dry eye disease.

Can Gut Microbiota Affect Dry Eye Syndrome?
Current studies also suggest the possible relation of autoimmune dry eye with gut microbiota. Herein, we review the current knowledge of how the gut microbiota interact with the immune system in homeostasis as well as its influence on rheumatic and ocular autoimmune diseases ..

Help Reduce Tear Staining Benefits

How to Safely Treat Tear Staining in Dogs

There are several simple ways to treat dogs for tear staining:

  1. Keep the hair around your dog’s eyes and nose as short as possible.Keep your dog’s face clean and dry. You can use a warm washcloth and baby shampoo to gently clean the face and around the eyes. After washing the face, always dry the area with a clean towel to prevent ulcerative dermatitis secondary to wet skin. There are also many types of eyelid and cleaning pads available for use. In addition, contact lens solution can be used to clean around the eyes, but be careful not to get it into the eyes. The boric acid in the contact solution oxidizes the iron in the porphyrins and may lighten the staining.

  2. Tylosin-containing products claim to treat or prevent tear staining, but its effect is unpredictable and does not always produce results. Because tylosin is an antibiotic, there is controversy in using it for cosmetic purposes due to possible drug resistance. In addition, over-the-counter products with tylosin in them are not advisable because it’s uncertain how much tylosin is in the product.

  3. Consider giving your dog probiotics as they may decrease tear staining.

Manage Bloating Benefits

Dietary interventions to reduce intestinal fermentation and ingestion of food supplements like prebiotics or probiotics can reduce bloating by reducing gas production. The main targets of pharmacological treatments are to improve transit and evacuation with prokinetics, to improve intestinal gas tolerance with antispasmodics and/or neuromodulators, and to modify intestinal microbiota with antibiotics.
